Description:
This position is working in partnership with the R&D teams. This group is working on building different ink and toner parts. This group is a little different in the fact that they are using different metals, plastics and chemicals to build them. They will be using different analytical skills, 3D and 4D scanning of materials, and following complex tooling directions. If hired they will be Ensuring customers receive analytical results within negotiated delivery dates. As well as Provide results in an efficient and effective manner utilizing LabNet to manage task requests and priorities.
Strong candidates need:
• 3-5 years of experience in a lab type environment working with chemicals and equipment. This is not a clean room environment and employees do not have to wear the “bunny” or “clean” suites
• A combined skill set of chemical and lab background and is able to work with and on different machines.
• The ability and want to work in a lab environment that is fast paced and forever moving.
• A good knowledge and background with chemicals and mechanical understanding.
• Ability to work with small pieces in a manufacturing lab environment.
• Someone who is very safety conscious and has knowledge of lab and mechanical safety.
• Ability to follow complex tooling directions.
• Ability to apply analytical/mathematical skills and understanding of the fundamental involved in the assigned field of physics and material science.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment, practice good safety habits and utilize PPE.
