Job Description
This position requires the analyst participation in all bio-functional assay activities including but not limited to assay development and testing of clinical samples.
The position also requires keeping current on all documentation related to all work pertaining to clinical assays.
The job also involves performing other tasks as assigned, related to clinical serology, functional bioassays, ELISA, when necessary.
As an integral member of this dynamic bio-functional assay team, the incumbent must have a strong work ethics and be highly collaborative with the other group members. All of the above includes practicing laboratory safety at all times and efforts toward GMP compliance.

Perform all aspects of functional bioassay to support clinical trials & development. Provide critical data review of clinical & non-clinical data. Collect, collate & analyze data on a per project basis to support troubleshooting, qualification & other lab projects. Perform assays to support critical assay reagent testing, assay development/troubleshooting & assay development. Assist in ordering supplies for internal inventory & order/prepare reagents/supplies necessary for bio-functional assay work. Assist in updating & writing documents associated with bio-functional assays, including information/data archiving, SOP's & status reports. Satisfactorily completes all GMP/GLP & safety training in conformance with Departmental requirements. Where applicable, performs job responsibilities in compliance with GMP/GLP & all other regulatory agency requirements. Attend Power2Learn, corporate, & departmental training, as available. Performs other tasks as assigned. Candidate must meet the Vaccine Research Medical Surveillance requirements thru their hiring agency or sign waiver
