Job Description
Summary of position:
Process Development opportunities for a new innovative project in Company's Aortic business unit. Process development including new procedures and equipment along with validation activities associated with the development activities will constitute most of the time for the successful candidate. The candidate will work within a team of 2-4 other PD engineers so mentoring is available and it is a great opportunity for development and action.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Participate in the development and qualification of equipment and processes to support new product introduction.
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems associated with process and equipment.
• Perform Design of Experiments for process definition and to optimize equipment parameters for new and/or existing processes.
• Use Six Sigma, Lean, and Mistake proof methodologies in the development of manufacturing processes to implement processes that are ‘born lean and capable’.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external resources needed in developing and implementing new process.
• Liaise with Operations teams to develop additional capability for existing technology and process improvements.
• Function within a team environment and provide clear feedback to supervisor and department.

Qualifications / experience required:
• A degree is required, preferably in a technical discipline and the ability to understand technical data/specifications will be expected.

• Ideally, candidates will have had exposure to a previous engineering environment in the areas of equipment and process development

Specialised Knowledge Required: (If Applicable)

• The successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills as well as demonstrating good organizational, presentation and project management skills.
• Candidates must demonstrate excellent computer literacy.
