Job Description
Role & Responsibilities:
- The engineer in this role is needed to have exceptional Cisco Unified Communications skills a recognized expert.
- The engineer needs to able to go onsite to the customer and needs to provide an interactive role to build trust with the customer and solve customer problems.
- Our traditional advanced services deliverables and consulting will also be a part of the mix. Specific technologies needed are in the areas UC and cluster design, needs to understand virtualization and how to build a CM on a VM, Unity, Jabber, and webex integration (on prem expertise is particularly valuable).
- The UC engineer needs to understand our video/Telepresence capabilities, how they integrate with CM, and how to set up a separate Telepresence infrastructure. The engineer needs to be able to do full lifecycle management, from design to operations. The engineer needs to be able to articulate a vision for the future as well as be able to cope with day to day operational problems.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Typically requires BS, CS, or University degree equivalent plus 6-8 years’ experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment.
- Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
- Large-scale network design skills. Undertake support as designated Professional Services engineer for large-scale networks.
- Must possess strong technical account management skills.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Professional Services or high-level support.
- Active participant in virtual technology teams within Advanced Services.
- In-depth knowledge of network management, network availability & capacity planning.

Desired Skills:
- CCIE certification
- Advanced degree strongly preferred
