Job Description
 
• This group develops test solutions for design verification and high volume production testing of Mobile Station Modems (MSMs), baseband mixed-signal devices, RF receivers/transmitters/transceivers, audio devices, and power management ASICs.
• Job responsibilities for this position include design and debug of test interface hardware, schematic capture, oversee layout, and release test hardware into volume production.
• Responsibilities: The employee will implement digital, mixed signal and RF PCB designs.
• Experience in Mentor PADs Logic and PADs Layout, DxDesigner and Expedition is desirable but not essential.
• They will perform the required simulations (Power Integrity and Signal Integrity) and conduct and document design reviews to meet strict product development schedules.
• They will work with Test Engineers, Product Engineers and designers to collect the design requirements for the test boards and create schematics for these based on understanding of the ATE 93000 and bench board instrumentation.
• FPGA design and development experience is plus.


Minimum Qualification:
• Looking for a candidate with: : PCB design, Test Interface, Schematic Capture, Power Integrity, Signal Integrity, Simulation, Debug
• Understanding and ability to apply electrical engineering concepts and circuit solving skills.
• Able to work with common test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, network analyzer, etc.)
• Knowledge in RF, mixed-signal, or analog PCB design including CAD interface Experience in high layer count multilayer boards and sockets/connectors and Component selection preferred.
• Specific experience in designing boards for 93000 ATE tester a plus. It is important the candidate has ability to communicate technical understandings and project status clearly.
• Also important is the ability to organize effectively and document work thoroughly and follow required procedures and methodologies.
• Ability to contribute seamlessly as a member of the board design team.
• FPGA design and development experience is plus.

Education:
• Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering Preferred: Master's or equivalent experience
