Job Description:
• Responsible for the support of more than 150 Companies Branch Offices and you are responsible to the supplier data centers.
• This includes, inventory management, provisioning and cost control for Companies Business Units.
• The Senior Network Engineer will function as Companies Network Technical support for network projects and service requests by documenting, reviewing and editing technical specifications.
• As a Senior Network Engineer you are responsible for maintaining day to day support using Service now for incident, request and problem management across all network to support the current network infrastructure.

Job Requirements
 
 
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the Companies Data Com Transport Circuit/Service inventory;
• Review WAN and ISP Bandwidth utilization reports provided by supplier and / or Data Com Transport Carriers;
• Function as the Companies technical engineer and interface with the Companies Carriers for account service issues;
• Function as network engineer / interface on all WAN projects with supplier.
• Review hardware specifications and turn-up / test plans for WAN implementation.
• Assist with troubleshooting WAN outages and Companies suppliers expedites.
• Requires joining SEV1 triage bridge.
• Administer Network Fault & Performance Monitoring Toolsets
• Coordinate with different vendors to get network alerts into Companies supported ticketing systems.
• Provide scheduled network reports to Companies management.
• Network Project Engineering Support.
• Network Performance & Fault Monitoring.

Education:
• Bachelors Degree in technical or business field or equivalent technical training or experience.
• 5 or more years of experience as a Data Network Engineer with a heavy emphasis on WAN technology design, implementation, monitoring, management and ordering.
• Knowledge and experience with multiple hardware and software communications components, both IP and TDM.
• Knowledge of telecommunications standard topologies and physical specifications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communications skills with a strong customer focus.
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize work effectively.
• Willingness to travel for project implementations.
• The estimate is not to exceed 20% travel.
