Job Description
 
• Must be able to analyze large data sets to forecast trends in the industry. In other words, be an expert in Excel.
• Must be a self-starter and able to initiate independent action with minimal supervision when it comes to analyzing the metrics to find solutions
• Demonstrated strong analytical and project management skills
• Ability to multitask multiple ongoing projects of varying degrees of importance and scope
• Be able to take the available data and communicate it in a concise manner. Must be well versed in MS Power Point.
• Exceptional MS Excel
• Above average PowerPoint skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience using Business Objects
• Experience with POLK Registration data
• Familiarity with MS SharePoint.
• Automotive industry experience, with understanding of essential KPI’s – Days’ Supply, Turn Rate, etc.

Work flexibility:
• The position is not expected to travel but it is possible that one or two trips might be needed.

Role Summary:
The CPO Analyst is part of the Fleet and Used Department, which is responsible for management and implementation of programs supporting our retail development in the used spectrum. This analytical role will rely on an individual that can use their strong analytic skill to provide insight into buy/selling trend within the client network.

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate market data to identify opportunities for sales growths and assist in the development of action plans to drive growth.
• Interpret and apply data trends to broad concepts; combine data sets across multiple sources; and build relevant reports to convey dealer/region/network performance.
• Product metric reporting for inventory mix, colour, options to develop proper investigative reports that increase CPO sales and efficiencies in marketing spends/placement
• Develop predictive modelling and forecasting of CPO claims warranty information.
• Create automated CPO sales reports to be distributed to HQ and field employees.
• Administer ad-hoc reporting for the regional RUCM to increase CPO sales
• Design and manage month-end national KPI Reports and communicate results to relevant industry organizations:
o KPI Dashboard
o Monthly Chart Workbook
o MTD/YTD Sales Ranking
o Historical Industry
o Sales Analysis
o Used Car Dashboard
o Days’ Supply Report

• Update and maintain Regional KPI metric reports:
o Financial Dashboard Report
o CPO Profitability Report
o CPO v. Non CPO Comparison

• Update Quarterly Fleet Strategy Deck.
• Coordinate with VCI, Company Car, and Service Loaner teams to forecast short-cycle returns.
• Assist with all projects as needed within the department
