Job responsibilities:
• Accountable for integration across performance monitoring tools, processes, and people
• Oversight of processes to provide a seamless view to performance monitoring to applications teams
• Responsible for performance profiling and systems architecture deep-dive reviews
• Accountable for facilitating monitoring implementation between technical application teams, application monitoring team, and EMIT Operations Center
• Tools include AppDynamics, Dynatrace, NetScout, Splunk, and internally developed monitoring tools
• Application Monitoring Liaison will have accountability to application support teams and Cross Service Monitoring Manager
• Opportunity to gain expertise with monitoring processes and tools that will greatly expand monitoring capabilities and enable Applications to start putting Agile methodologies into practice
• Establish operating standards & best practices that bring clarity and simplicity to the usage of processes and tools from Build through to Deploy

Experience
• Strong technical background in wide variety of technologies including but not limited to web, mobile, SaaS, packaged solutions, .NET, and database
• 10+ years experience in performance monitoring required
• Technical team leadership experience mandatory
• Ability to work cooperatively in a group environment to achieve common goals while maintaining standards; ability to build and maintain effective collaborative working relationships
• Very strong coordination skills across complex organization structures
• Expert knowledge in one or more tools used for cross application and infrastructure monitoring
• Experience in analyzing transactions and infrastructure metrics
• Self-directed with a high degree of initiative, ability to perform with minimal oversight, and accountable for all work assigned
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all level of the organization and 3rd party vendors
• Detail oriented/strong analytical skills
• Strong oral presentation skills, outstanding time management skills, skilled in consulting and establishing credibility / trust with customers, ability to handle multiple priorities, able to adapt to change, analytical problem-solving skills, and ability to handle customers effectively
