• The Manager of IS Imaging and Ancillary Applications serves as a strategic business partner to physicians and operations in identifying gaps and solutions to both small and large scale initiatives.
• The Manager is responsible for developing and implanting strategies in support of PACS, RIS, CVIS, Nuclear Medicine and Ancillary systems to include interfaces to other upstream/downstream systems.
• This position oversees the activities of PACS Administrators, System Administrators, Program Analysts and other technical and professional staff, in setting priorities, enforcing methodologies and standards, coordinating resources, and responding to user issues in collaboration with the Information Services (IS) Service Desk.
• The manager works productively and professionally with other members of the IS Management Team, and provides support and guidance to direct and/or indirect reports.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical, leadership and interpersonal skills along with Project Management experience, the ability to create and deliver presentations to the executive level, and strong technical and clinical knowledge of Imaging Department workflows. Experience with DICOM and HL7 is preferred. To be considered, candidates must have the required education, information systems experience and demonstrated clinical workflow and project management knowledge.

• Five (5) years of information systems experience applying analytical methodologies, with specific experience utilizing a picture archiving communications system, radiology information system and/or information interfaces is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of picture archive communication, radiology information and other image processing systems.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of interfaces in a health care setting.
• Understanding of HIPAA, security and compliance regulations.
• Strong problem solving skills, ability to manage project tasks and timelines, and analytical ability.
• Must be able to adapt easily to change and engage with others in a team environment.
• Ability to work with and communicate to a diverse work force in all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated skill in and understanding of data standards and interfaces.
