Position Details:

Job Title: Compensation Analyst II
Location: North Chicago, IL - 60064
Duration: 12+ months (Possibilities of extension)

Position Description:
• Responsible for the administration, support and delivery of global compensation programs that are aimed at attracting and retaining talent.
• Performs job evaluations globally.
• Provides recommendations on various pay actions (external offers, promotions, equities, bonus buyouts, etc.).
• Completes salary survey submissions and equity studies.
• Administers the job description process.
• Supports various compensation programs including salary planning, merit increases, short-term incentive plans, and long-term incentive plans.
• Provides compensation analysis and data management support for special projects including acquisitions and divestitures, large reorganizations, job leveling, job hierarchies, internal and external audits, new government-mandated changes, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree required and 3-6 years in a compensation analyst role with some experience in basic compensation functions.
• Experience leading small to medium projects.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with various internal customers to resolve critical data issues.
• The work environment for this position is a service center - they work off a ticketing system.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once with differing deadlines.
• Global compensation experience preferred.
• Should have experience working with market data, equity analysis, job evaluations, processing merit/bonus incentives, etc.
• Must have experience working globally and with large companies.
• Experience with Hay Point Method point system or any other related point systems ideal.
• Must have excellent communication both verbal and written.
• ** Bonus and Merit experience is not needed at this time.
• Must have experience with Market Data and Salary Survey/peer data.
• Will conisder financial and BHR/HR backgrounds if have exposure to compensation.
• Must have experience with Point system, Haypoint method preferred.
• Will consider a strong PM with experience with excel, human resources and global experience
