HR Systems Analyst & Test Lead
Location : Austin, TX OR Palo Alto, CA

Job Description:
• In collaboration with Project Manager and Workstream leads, develop overarching functional, integration and data migration testing strategies.
• Participate in business requirements gathering and design sessions to document prototype and unit test cases.
• Build a requirements traceability matrix to ensure the scope of testing covers all functional and technical requirements.
• Write test scripts/scenarios and train team members on test script completion & submission processes.
• Define and present testing scope, phase entry and exit criteria, and test issue management systems and processes.
• Manage end-to-end test phase logistics including sourcing testers, assigning roles and scripts, calendaring kickoff sessions, etc.
• Develop a tester security matrix, and manage system security including password management and proxy access according to client standards.
• Manage day-to-day test execution, including overseeing completion rates, ticket management, producing test metrics, and monitoring and escalating issues/risks following established protocol.
• Collaborate with internal team members on initial issue validation and developing appropriate ticket documentation.
• Liaison between internal team members, vendors, and consultants to successfully resolve bugs and issues found during testing.
• End-to-end oversight for re-testing and approval/sign off on issue resolution.
• Monitor all aspects of test execution including stress tests, performance testing, UAT, etc.
• As determined by resource availability, the Test Lead may execute some test scripts/scenarios including performing functional testing, performance/load tests, data validation, integration file validation, etc.
• Develop a final test phase summary presentation (ticket metrics, outstanding issues) and deliver to the Steering Committee.
• Deliver on any/all assigned tasks in all project phases from Initiation, Planning, Analysis, Design, Build, Test/Train, Deploy and Stabilization
• Coordinate meetings for team (including internal, consultants, vendors)
• Communicate with other project leads to ensure appropriate links with other work streams.
• Attend meetings and provide verbal and written status updates.
• Immediately escalate issues, risks, questions and concerns.
• Jointly maintain project documentation, O365 Group collaboration sites, SharePoint lists, etc., ensuring artifacts are approved and posted for future reference.
• Participate in other project activities as requested by the Project Manager.

Position Requirements
• B.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, or related area; MBA/M.S. a plus
• 4+ yrs HRIS experience required; Workday experience preferred
• Strong systems project implementation experience with a focus on systems testing and test cycle management; knowledge of project phases and processes
• Experience as a systems test lead strongly preferred
• Successful experience managing multiple project activities simultaneously
• Advanced knowledge of software and spreadsheet applications (MS Excel including advanced formulas for data mapping, validation and comparison)
• Developed HR acumen and technical aptitude, with proven experience in measurement, data analysis and interpretation
• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical
• Self-starter possessing strong customer focus and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
• Excellent verbal and written communication /documentation skills required
• Strong relationship building skills in order to acquire trust of business partners
• Must exhibit firm security and confidentiality practices
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints
• Must thrive in a fast paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
