Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Oriskany, NY 13424
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

Training hours: 8:00-4:30
Training duration 6 weeks training two weeks nesting
Shift hours after training.
• Looking for (flexibility) an eight hour shift between 8:00 am-11:00 pm Mon-Fri.
• Work shifts will be decided during training.
• Must have flexibility

Job Description:
• Brief description of your department:
• Rep would be responsible for taking in-bound call for Client’s Disability Insurance customers.
• Will be trained to handle multi-transactional calls and to navigate multiple systems.
• Rep must be empathetic, professional and a critical thinker.
• High call volume, professional environment.

Responsibilities:
• What are the consultants responsible for? Type of questions? How many calls per day?
• Rep must have good multi-tasking skills as they will have to navigate multiple systems while viewing client’s coverage and procedures.
• Will handle 40-60 calls daily
Questions will include:
? Intake (starting a claim)
? Status of claim
? Directing call to proper contact for call resolution.
? General customer service.
• Rep would be responsible for taking in-bound call for MetLife’s Disability Insurance customers.
• Will be trained to handle multi-transactional calls and to navigate multiple systems.
• Rep must be empathetic, professional and a critical thinker.
• High call volume, professional environment.

Background skill set required:
• Customer service experience a must.
• Call-Center experience a plus but not required.
• High School diploma or GED a must.
