Job Description
Job Functions:-
• Responsible for ensuring timely payment of invoices and vendor payments with proper coding, documentation and signature authority.
• Implements and reviews operating procedures for department.
• Manages AP, including invoice processing, customer vendor relations and the AP disbursement which include ACH and check disbursements.
• Handles electronic payments such as epayables, paycards and ACH payments.
• Managers AP imaging, electronic storage and approvals through OnBase.
• Oversees implementation of AP automation projects.
• Provides accounting assistance to operations staff: response to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
• Oversees company DataBasics program.
• Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including AP functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.

Job Requirements
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Capacity to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Skill to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Aptitude to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of email, spreadsheet software, word processing software and presentation software.
• Intermediate spreadsheet skills are required. Employee must have an understanding of GAAP.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in accounting with focus in accounts payable preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
