Qualifications:
A BS or MS degree or equivalent in Immunology, Virology, or a related field is required. Expertise required in tissue culture and immunological/virological techniques, including: aseptic techniques, cell line maintenance, viral plaque assay, virus neutralization assay, ELISA, AlphaLISA, MSD electrochemiluminescence assay, Luminex assay. Individuals with expertise in innate immunity and/or T and B-cell biology are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience in automation and/or flow cytometry is a plus. The successful candidate should show a desire to learn and implement new methods and apply them to answer scientific questions. Ability to work in a team and interact with colleagues in a multidisciplinary environment is important. Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:
Looking for a highly motivated individual who will contribute to a fast-paced vaccine/biologics and biomarker discovery team. Major activities will include: Develop, optimize, and perform in vitro assays to evaluate vaccine and biologics candidates; Analyze, document and interpret results from preclinical experiments to assess immune responses; Present and discuss results within a multi-disciplinary team environment; Adhere to basic safety procedures in a BSL2 laboratory.
