Job Description
 
Role: Control M Engineer
Location; Jersey City, NJ,
Duration : 11 Months

A: Must Skills
1. Strong working knowledge implementing and configuring Control-M in high availability enterprise environment.
2. Prior in-depth experience automating and monitoring large-scale, enterprise-wide, mission critical platforms
3. Working knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g. Python, PERL, Shell Scripting,VBS, etc.)
4. Solid understanding of Windows, LINUX and SQL
5. Strong communication; Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Ability to collaborate well with others, be strategically focused, and constantly looking to improve our environment

B: Plus Skills
1. Working knowledge of configuring and monitoring ITRS
2. Working knowledge of other scheduling platforms (e.g., Tidal, AutoSys, etc.)
3. Experience as a member of a team providing 24x7 coverage

C: degrees, certifications/training
• Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent

D: Industry expertise:
1. Control-M in high availability enterprise environment.
2. Banking domain

E: Detailed job responsibilities:
1. Assist in the design, standardization, and implementation of a globally distributed automation platform.
2. Lead the consolidation and migration of the CMIT workload automations onto Control-M
3. Responsible for ensuring maximum platform availability and prompt and accurate remediation of issues
4. Communicate project updates effectively to stakeholders
5. Actively manage infrastructure to drive efficiency
6. Collaborate with development team and vendors to resolve issues and improve our platform
7. Proactively drive IT governance and de-risking initiatives
