Benefits Analyst Position with a Large Financial Client in Purchase NY

Description:
• Benefits: Insurance benefits (medical plan, dental, vision, disability, retirement, 401K)
• Ensure benefit plans/programs remain compliant, including, but not limited to ACA, SOX, 5500 Filing, SARs, HIPAA, COBRA, etc.
• Manage the coordination and completion of multiple deliverables in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to compliance reports and filings, audit reports, process/procedure documentation, plan amendments, contracts / RFPs / RFIs, etc.
• Assist with troubleshooting all matters and issues related to the benefits plans/programs/policies among GBSC-HR (Shared Service), employees/retirees, and vendors.
• Facilitate and manage the communications process for U.S. benefit programs including open enrollment.
• Work closely with various stakeholders to manage Reasonable Accommodation requests.
• Assist with the global rollout of the corporate wellbeing initiative.
• Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment; manage multiple activities and priorities, work collaboratively with internal and external teams, and work well under pressure and deadlines.
• Analytical, critical thinking, project management, statistical and problem solving skills.
• Possess a relaxed and approachable counseling style and ability to articulate very technical plan provisions to the wider employee population and to handle sensitive, confidential matters.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• A high aptitude and willingness to learn new topics with enthusiasm.
• Prior experience in human resources
