Job Description
 
• Team is structured as L1 and L2 Support teams
• They need L2 level Specialist – Should be SMEs app dev. and troubleshooting,
• Day to day activities/responsibilities-
• Resolve a bunch of tickets escalated from L1 team – something went wrong in applications, they look at the code, debug and rectify, resolve the issue
• Also get requests from business users like trader, end clients of Goldman etc. for application issues or errors or user based questions. Since these are mission critical systems, these issues are to be resolved quickly and efficiently
• Also do some incident management, work and interact with App dev teams and business stakeholders

Job Requirements
 
 
• Unix and database experience is must
• Apps are written in java, so need to have some coding understanding
• Pearl and Shell scripting
• No coding required for this role but knowledge is essential
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent Communication skills
• 4-5 years of experience is good.
