Job Description
 
Duration 6+ months + possibility of extension

Job Functions:
• This position is responsible for customer facing activities
• These activities require cooperation across a group of individuals that spans the entire organization as well as third parties such as Architecture Firms, Construction Management Companies, and Law Firms
• Ensuring design and construction deliverables are timely reviewed and meet pre-established document control requirements
• Maintaining files of engineering drawings, project reports, specifications, proposals, and other related documentation
• Ensuring that the pre-established document control classification system remains current and is applied throughout the duration of the project
• Training project teams in pre-established document control requirements
• Escalating issues concerning missed deliverables and failure to meet pre-established document control requirements
• Responsible for on-board new real estate projects to the electronic document management system
• Provides oversight of legacy content being migrated into the document management system during new project on-boarding
• Support multiple project teams engaged in the design, fabrication, construction, and integration of real estate with document management
• Manage the risk associated with changes to project teams and phase of project work by controlling access and permissions
• Providing strategic advisement on document standards and procedures to the client
• Prepares reporting that provides client with insight into adherence to document control standards

Experience:
• Professional document or project controls experience
• Design, Construction, Architecture, Real Estate Development or Facilities Management exposure
• Experience in document management, system administration, data governance
• Experience with enterprise ECM implementations
• Client hardware capture device (scanners, tablets, input and other capture devices) experience is preferred
• Experience with remote server and application support tools & techniques is required (Remote Desktop, WebEx, GoTo Meeting, etc….)

Job Requirements
 
 
• Demonstrated level of comfort with technology; word processing, spreadsheet, and database software preferred
• Strong administration, project management skills
• Strong knowledge of an Electronic Document Management Systems, Document Control Tools, or Collaborative Project Management software such as OnBase, e-Builder, or SharePoint
• Demonstrate good written and oral communication, attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project professionals and management
• Experience with AutoCAD and BIM preferred
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as Management Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Science
• Imaging certification is strongly preferred such as CDIA
