Job opportunity with Banking client in Brooklyn, OH

Job Brief (Purpose)
• This position is responsible for receiving all customer loss mitigation applications that come into the loss mitigation department and reviewing for completeness, as well as pulling system generated required documentation and completing the loss mitigation application checklist.
• Upon completion, this position assigns the application for analysis.
• This position is responsible for all client phone contact and serves as the single point of contact for clients throughout the loss mitigation process.
• Maintains appropriate records and document the collection system in order to preserve a history of actions taken or denied
• Logs the application on the loss mitigation log and starts to track the Dodd Frank 5 day response requirement
• Reviews the application for completeness
• Correspond with the customer regarding status of the application
• For incomplete application, follow up, and per Dodd Frank, makes a diligent effort to obtain the necessary documents from the customer in the hopes of eventually sending the file for analysis as stated above.
• Handle all emails and voice mails that come through the loss mitigation department’s general voice mail box and email box.
• Responsible for ensuring all Dodd Frank requirements are met, from acknowledgement to decision for requests
• Actions the borrower must take to be evaluated for such loss mitigation options

Job Requirements
Required Skills:
• Two to three years of banking loss mitigation experience is required.
• Real Estate Collections or default related experience is preferred.
• Assign completed applications to loss mitigation analysts for analysis.
