Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Required Experience and Skills: • 1-2 years experience in computing field or information management (Internships or full employment.) • Strong English written and oral communication skills • High efficiency on a US keyboard navigating the internet in various web browsers and devices • Be highly efficient in using basic tools such as Ms Word and Excel, file management and file transfer such as FTP, Dropbox, etc. within current PC, Mac, iOS and Android operating systems. • Demonstrate solid understanding and proficiency in current version of HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Have foundational understanding of Databases, SQL, XSL, and graphic design • The candidate must have an adequate home office setup because onsite presence in Upper Gwynedd (North Wales) PA will only be 1-3 per week. • The candidate must be trustworthy, motivated and able to work independently. Preferred Experience and Skills: • Sitecore • Vasont CCMS • Foundational Understanding of Workflow and Software Development Lifecycle • Multilingual (with reading proficiency in any of the following: Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Arabic, French, German, Italian or Portuguese.)

Responsibilities:
Responsible for regular development, testing, maintenance and publication of all Medical and Veterinary Manuals in the United States and Canada, and MSD Manuals outside of North America. This includes: • Programming and configuring user-customizable website changes in SitecoreWeb CMS as directed by the Manuals team • Working within the Vasont XML Component based content management system (CCMS) o Troubleshooting and correcting date and tagging issues in the XML as needed. o Regularly exporting targeted XML content from the CMS to all necessary partners, including handheld vendors, typesetters and printers, online partners, and foreign translators and publishers. o Reimporting translated XML content and processing it for publishing. • Recording and submitting issues that require the Vasont CMS and Sitecore developers to resolve more complex problems. • As needed, perform ad hoc User acceptance and regression testing of the websites and native mobile apps in various languages to ensure that all content is displaying completely and correctly and that all features are functioning properly • Serving as back-up support to troubleshoot the technical needs of the staff or the global authors that use our Vasont WebLNX and Oxygen XML authoring system.
