Job Description
 
•This person will be involved in the analysis and design of many aspects of system level Signal Integrity for the next generation of Products.
•The individual should have applied knowledge in end to end signal integrity engineering including package, PCB and connector design concerns.
•The candidate should have familiarity and have some experience with DDR and SerDes (Ethernet, PCIe, SATA, etc.) applications and interfaces.
•The individual must have strong teamwork and communication skills to work with internal and external providers delivering system components.
•Good fundamental background in electromagnetic theory and transmission line theory is required.
•Responsibilities: Assist in the execution of system level Signal Integrity analysis Collaborate with Signal Integrity and Power Integrity Team members Modeling of high-speed passive interconnect for package, PCB, and die Assist in hardware validation and correlation for signal integrity and timing

Minimum Qualification:
•Skills/Experience Working knowledge of one or more of the following: Perl, Matlab, Python Tools and modeling experience: HSpice, Ansys HFSS, Agilent ADS, Ansys Designer, Sigrity PowerSI, Ansys SIWave or comparable, Allegro/SIP, Sigrity T2B, IBIS, IBIS-AMI
•Good fundamental background in 2D and 3D electromagnetic modeling, transmission line theory
•Good fundamental background in statistics and probability theory
•Ability to accurately summarize and present Signal Integrity simulation analysis results

Preferred Qualification:
•Desired Experience Some familiarity with chip, package and PCB extraction tools, e.g., Star-RCXT, Sentinel-PSI, SiWave, ExtractIM, Redhawk
•Understanding and knowledge of DDR interface signal integrity signoff and timing closure and a working knowledge of JEDEC specifications
•Familiarity with SerDes interface standards, design and tradeoffs

Education:
•Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering
•Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering
