The HR Operations Analyst provides Tier 2 support for the HR Business Partner.

Responsible for centrally managing all HR operational activities for the business/organization in which the role supports. This position requires a wide breadth of knowledge and specific expertise about client processes & systems and will work to streamline processes and solve complex problems and issues.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The HR Operations Analyst provides Tier 2 support for the HR Business Partner. Responsible for centrally managing all HR operational activities for the business/organization in which the role supports.
This position requires a wide breadth of knowledge and specific expertise about client processes & systems and will work to streamline processes and solve complex problems and issues.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle or involve the appropriate parties in daily requests from managers within the business
• Main point of contact for the AskHR, Global Data teams and broader HR teams if they need to escalate or involve a local HR person
• Responds to customer requests for information as appropriate both verbally and in writing. Utilizes various resources and knowledge of laws, programs and policies, to ensure that a complete and accurate answer is provided. Directs customers to additional resources or specialists, including documented information, reference materials and self-service tools
• Main liaison with business on specific HR resource material (e.g. CVG Sales Operations on auto allowance, vehicle lease, cell phone allowances, onboarding, and the FAQ resource for employees).
• Provides specialized support for operational activities (employee agreement, I-9 Reverifications, home office verification letters, etc.)
• Act as the Project Manager for several major HR processes for the business including but not limited to promotions, manager/employee tools (calendars, directors, org charts, toolkit, quick guides, etc.), and Workday Champion which require interaction with the business Leadership team.
• Provide HR training and direction to coordinators within the business as needed.
• Provide skilled Workday technical support, which may include data coordination, data analysis, tracking and coding.
• Handle requests for data and reporting
• Submit, process and review/approve transactions as appropriate
• Update HR org codes, business divisions, supervisory organizations
• Acts as Data Steward for business (data governance)
• Annual AOP process, organization changes
• Identify process improvement & role clarification opportunities and make recommendations with the appropriate parties
• Engage partners within HR Operations teams, COEs, and business to simplify and standardize processes
• Solve other problems of moderate scope with little supervision.
• Handles issues and requests by executing an alternative on own initiative or recommending best alternative to his/her manager.
• May refer to established precedents and policies.
• As appropriate, escalates more complex problems and issues that cannot be resolved with the standard work processes and information.
• Other Duties as Assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • BA/BS degree • 2+ years of work experience within an HR function • Project Experience

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Client HR experience and process knowledge desired • Competent in working on cross-functional projects. • Research and data analysis experience • Competent in Project Management • Ability to co-manage a team of individuals and drive a project to successful completion. • Highly organized, maintains rigor of process, and holds task owners accountable. • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) • Competent in written and oral communication. Competent making presentations, giving status updates and facilitating cross-functional and cross-site meetings.
