Job Description
 
The Sr. Business /Process Analyst will work as a member of the Branded Cards Marketing Control team and will interface between Business Users of the enterprise-wide Workflow Manager (WFM) automation application and the technical support/development team. The candidate’s Primary areas of focus will be:

Support of Business Users
Changes to existing workflow templates to accommodate new/modified business processes
Proposals for optimizing system functionality and improving overall UX

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assisting Business Users with resolving system issues/user errors
Modifying existing workflow templates to accommodate new/modified business processes
Creating User Acceptance test plans
Conducting User Acceptance Testing sessions
Working with Control Team Leads on changes required across Marketing teams
Conduction a variety of training sessions
Working closely with the development team to brainstorm and identify application improvements
Providing visibility to various levels of management on progress against milestones, issues, risks and dependencies via periodic and ad-hoc reporting

Job Requirements
 
 
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related disciplines, or equivalent experience
A minimum of 3 or more years of experience as a business or functional analyst for large projects in the financial services/marketing domain(s).
Experience with a technology consulting company, or in an internal consulting position, is preferred
Solid understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle and PMO methodologies.
Highly proficient and advanced user of MS Office Application suite –Excel, PowerPoint and Word—especially Excel
Working Knowledge of SharePoint
Hands-on experience and knowledge of programming preferred but not essential.

Willingness to roll up sleeves and dive in at all levels
Unique customer focus; strong record of achievement in applying a customer mindset to shape solutions and approaches
Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a strong sense of urgency
Excellent organization skills; Ability to work on multiple concurrent work streams and provide quality deliverables in an efficient, timely manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly articulate and document business and functional specifications in clear, non-technical language.
Ability to act as a liaison between the business (all levels) and application development, analyzing and translating client needs into software specifications
