Position Details:

Job Title : Human Resource Administrative Assistant
Location : Melville, NY
Duration : 6 Months

Duties:
• Prepare and validate employee time card transactions within the SAP HR Core Time system.
• Run, monitor and correct daily time clock punches for accurate recording (In vs. Out punches) and appropriate recording of exception time (Vacation, Personal, Sick, etc.).
• Review Hours Summary report each Monday to capture associates under the normal weekly/biweekly scheduled hours and investigate or make adjustments as appropriate.
• Run Weekly and Monthly FirstPort reports to capture total hours, total overtime, total absenteeism, etc.
• Monitor and maintain Short Term Disability (STD) hours. Input hours each pay cycle and maintain weekly/biweekly log of total STD hours for each pay cycle.
• Process retro adjustments, log changes on retro spreadsheet and validate retro files with Payroll each week.
• Communicate with associates and managers using Outlook

Job Requirements
 
 
Skills:
2 -3 years of experience working with time and attendance, HRIS systems and Payroll.
Education: High School Diploma required.
