Job Description
 
•Support legacy specification upgrade project from spec readiness to supplier commercial qualification approval
•Train in new specification system (Product Vision) and become expert
•Train in new quality standards and procedures
•Ingredient Specialist/Generalist will interact with PD to upgrade legacy ingredient specifications in Product Vision to support product launches.
•Serve as point of contact with supplier to gather information and data needed to build specification
•Manage PQQ process with suppliers
•Interact with all disciplines to ensure complete and accurate specification including Product Development, Food Safety, Regulatory, and Quality
•Manage ingredient and formula workflow launches & routes
•Track specification progress in tracker spreadsheet
•Support Commercialization Qualification plan follow-up with supplier and ensure appropriate disciplines review data when received
•Support maintenance of specifications on-going including parameter adjustments, adding new supplier sites, etc.

Qualification:
•Excel/Word/MS Outlook
•Good communication skills – oral and written (e.g. communication on telephone, external and internal , managing with other support group functions, etc.)
•Good organizational skills
•Attention to detail
•Works well in a team setting, working with QA/R&D/FS/Reg work team on other aspects of project
•Self-motivated
•Ability to learn new software programs

•Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related industry
