Job Description
 
•Understanding of electrical engineering concepts, digital and analog circuit analysis techniques, statistical analysis fundamentals, and wafer fabrication fundamentals.
•IC validation/characterization/production on bench and ATE Environment for RF and Transceiver devices.
•Strong understanding of production test techniques for high volume manufacturing of RF/Mixed-Signal.
•Working knowledge of RF, PLL, and general communication measurements (ie IP3, NF, ACPR, jitter, phase noise, lock time, etc)
•Ability to work with common lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers (for mixed signal), network analyzers (for RF), etc.
•Hands on experience with board debug a plus.
•Design/analyze RF and microwave circuits at chip and board level
•Work with other engineers and operations to address discovered issues
•Previous applicable work experience (e.g. co-op/internship with a high tech company) is a plus.
•Familiarity with cellular standards such as CDMA2000, 1X-EVDO, WCDMA, UMTS, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, or wireless peripheral standards such as 802.11x WLAN or other OFDM-based systems, GPS, and Bluetooth is desirable.
•Responsibilities include but not limited to performing RF measurements, analyzing results, partnering with design engineers to debug issues and statistically process large volumes of data for RF ICs.

Minimum Qualification:
•Solid understanding of RF principles, RF engineering tools.
•Solid understanding of cellular radio building blocks.
•Strong computer skills including programming languages. (C++/VB preferred) Familiar with ATE testers (93k and UFLEX preferred)
•Familiar with lab equipment (o-scope, power meter, vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator).

Education:
•Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
