Position Description:

• Role and Responsibility:
• Responsible for overall L2/L3 support includes different data sources (Oracle, flat files, and Netezza), UNIX and Golden Gate.
• Analyze and resolve data extraction, transformation, load, and replication issues in Mobile and Media business.
• Responsible for deployments in live platforms, Setting up Golden Gate in project environments.
• Fixing legacy shell scripts deployed in different UNIX and LINUX platforms.
• Provide cross-training for other team members in L2/L3 support, GG and UNIX.
• Performing Acceptance testing for deployment activities prior to production deployment.
• Understand the Functional requirements and resolve incidents according to the business priority.
• Manage the Stakeholder Communications as part of the daily Operations Support and also send in Communications for the Incidents / tickets received for the Data Support.
• Involve in the new project discussions and on-board as per the guidelines.
• Involve in root cause analysis and code changes to fix the issue if required.
• Involve in Continuous improvement and code optimization. Compliance with standard process and practice. Ensure the defect free deliverables.
• Need to co-ordinate with onsite and offshore team

Knowledge / Skills:
• Strong experience in activities related to the deployment, implementation, administration and support of Oracle Golden Gate 11g and 12c.
• Strong experience in activities related to the bug fixes, deployments and support of UNIX shell scripting.
• Hands-on in Golden Gate setup and data source implementations, creating Homogeneous and heterogeneous replications.
• Good knowledge in UNIX shell(Bash, Korn and Bourne) scripting and understanding of legacy scripts and functions.
• Strong Administration skills in Golden Gate and Application maintenance.
• Experience Deployment testing and OAT support of Golden Gate product installations
• Skill in prioritizing and balancing multiple tasks.
• Excellent customer handling experience and communication skills.
