Job Description:
• Understanding of electrical engineering concepts, digital and analog circuit analysis techniques, statistical analysis fundamentals, and wafer fabrication fundamentals.
• IC validation/characterization/production on bench and ATE Environment for RF and Transceiver devices. Strong understanding of production test techniques for high volume manufacturing of RF/Mixed-Signal.
• Working knowledge of RF, PLL, and general communication measurements (ie IP3, NF, ACPR, jitter, phase noise, lock time, etc)
• Ability to work with common lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers (for mixed signal), network analyzers (for RF), etc.
• Hands on experience with board debug a plus.
• Design/analyze RF and microwave circuits at chip and board level Set up and perform lab RF measurements
• Interpret data using statistical techniques (Datapower, SEDANA)
• Analyze and effectively present technical information Conduct measurement systems analysis (gauge R&R)
• Evaluate product performance to specifications (process capability)
• Write clear and concise specifications, reports, instructions, etc.
• Work with other engineers and operations to address discovered issues
• Previous applicable work experience (e.g. co-op/internship with a high tech company) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cellular standards such as CDMA2000, 1X-EVDO, WCDMA, UMTS, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, or wireless peripheral standards such as 802.11x WLAN or other OFDM-based systems, GPS, and Bluetooth is desirable.
• Responsibilities include but not limited to performing RF measurements, analyzing results, partnering with design engineers to debug issues and statistically process large volumes of data for RF ICs.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Solid programming skills in C/C++ Experience in Software Development for both Linux (Shared objects, gcc/gdb) and Windows (Visual Studio, understanding DLLs)
• Scripting (Perl/Python/TCL) Good understanding of RTL (Verilog/SystemVerilog) and experience with Xilinx Vivado and Xilinx FPGAs (Virtex 7 / Virtex UltraScale / Zynq)
• Hands on experience in solving complex system issues with good problem solving skills.
• Experience with version control systems
