Looking for candidates local to MN able to do an in-person interview

Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:
• Requirements definition and management – Document functional requirements and lead requirements prioritization with stakeholders. Review operational requirements, seeking effective solutions through improvements in automation.
• Application Design and Development – Work with other technical experts to design a new BI and reporting implementation. Design must balance functional requirements with future flexibility and operational simplicity.
• Development Testing – Create test cases using in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications and processes. Investigate test requirements for environment, data, resources and tools. Review test results and modify tests if necessary. Provides reports on progress, anomalies, risks and issues associated with the overall project.
• Configuration Management – Apply tools, techniques and processes to track, log, report on and correct configuration items, components and changes related to the configuration items.
• Incident Management – Identify, register and categorize incidents. Gather information to enable incident resolution.
• Data Analysis – Apply data analysis, data modelling, and quality techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of business processes. Establish, modify, and maintain data structures and associated components. Help other application development team members to understand the details of data structures and associated components.
• Analytics - Maintain appropriate analytical techniques to create information which supports business decision-making.
• Application Support – Maintain application support processes, and check that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures. Use application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• BS in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience, must have 5+ years specific to BI and Reporting experience.
• 1+ years work experience building BI and Reporting solutions with JSON formatted data.
• Experience in multiple BI tools, preferably including Tableau and Knowi.
• Experience with consumption of data using REST services and JSON documents, preferably also MongoDb.
• Experience with data modeling, mining, mapping, and monitoring.
• Experience conducting peer design and architecture reviews.
• Passion for learning new technologies and eagerness to collaborate with other creative minds.
• Must be proactive, self-directed, detailed and organized.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and leadership skills.
• Functional knowledge of retail products domain (nice to have)
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Fast-paced agile software development.
• Co-location with engineering team responsible for product data services.
• Support code deployments and provide production support as needed.
