Testing Consultant description:

Role Summary:

The Testing Centre of Excellence (TCoE) is a multi-site team, committed to providing professional, structured testing services that embraces innovative tools and techniques to enhance the quality of our deliverables and align with our customer expectations. As a member of the TCoE, you provide testing services and quality assurance activities throughout the systems development life cycle for large, complex or high risk projects. This role focuses on Individual Insurance testing and requires an experienced candidate.

Main Accountabilities:
• Due to the nature and complexity of the projects, leadership, project coordination, team building and knowledge sharing is key in this role
• Work with delivery leaders, project managers, business analysts, designers, developers and business partners to ensure expectations are met
• Coordinate activities and inputs from multiple disciplines within TCoE to provide full testing services (automation, data masking, non-functional testing, environment set up)
• Ability to work with multiple TCoE locations, including onshore and offshore
• Identify risks and remove roadblocks for testing teams
• Deliver key testing documents and activities on time, budget and quality including:
o Estimates
o Test strategies
o Test plans
o Test scenarios
o Test cases
o Test execution / verification
o User test support
o Defect management
o Test reports
• Provide quality assurance activities, ensuring processes are followed and key documents (across disciplines) are managed in accordance with CMMI practices and guidelines
• Creation and maintenance of repeatable test ware including:
o Regression models
o Training documentation
Competencies:
• Minimum 5 years test lead experience including experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or experience with Business Acceptance testing (BAT)
• Excellent research, analytical and problem solving skills

• Familiarity with Mainframe, able to navigate DB2 tables
