Description
Marketing Programmer/Analyst

Day to day responsibilities of the role
Support campaign criteria set up, execution, audits, QC and delivery of populations that are eligible marketing and servicing initiatives. A variety of distribution channels will be supported. They include, but are not limited to: email, direct mail, online banking, financial centers and statements.

Required Experience
? Over +7 years of experience as a Teradata Developer
? Excellent experience with Teradata SQL, Stored Procedures, UDF and Utilities
? Working with all the major Teradata utilities (BTEQ, Multiload, FastLoad, FastExport etc.)
? Experience working with complex and large data to pull and load into data mart.
? Expert in tuning Teradata query performance using Explain Plan and Collect Stats.
? ETL operations loading data from different sources systems such as relational tables, flat files, XML, XLS, etc., into Data warehouses and Data marts
? 7+ years of experience working in Unix/Linux environments
? Experience in creating wrapper scripts, File handling, Text processing using Linux Korn and Bash script
? 7+ years of SAS programming experience

? Databases: Teradata, DB2
? Statistics and Data Analysis Tools: SAS
? Operating System: Windows, Linux, AIX
? Scheduler: Autosys preferred
? DBMS Tools: Teradata SQL Assistant
? Other Tools: WinSCP, Putty
? Effective communication skills
? Effective interpersonal skills

Certification / Education Qualifications
? Teradata SQL Certification
? Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9
? Bachelor’s degree required
? Master’s degree preferred
? Computer science or quantitative majors preferred
