Job Description
The Associate Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing daily support of Biosurgery product families with specific regard to product quality, product cost, process improvements, safety, and customer feedback.
Areas of responsibility include chemical and bio-medical processes.
Duties include managing and/or participating in cross functional teams to accomplish project specific goals.
This person will be mentored to become the resident expert on production equipment and processes.
Key responsibility will be to ensure efficient product processing while maintaining established quality/cost/safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Team with manufacturing and quality personnel on a daily basis to review / disposition production defects and provides potential process and/or equipment corrective actions to assure production schedules and quality ex-pectations are met.
• Manage Eng changes notices, BOM creation, and general ERP support.
• Maintain excellent communications with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, Planning, and Metrology departments on an as needed basis.
• Ability to lead cross functional teams a plus, using project management tools such as MS Project Gantt charts, tracking financials of project, holding successful meetings, and distributing timely minutes.
• Follow established guidelines and management direction with regard to engineering decisions and depart-mental/company policy.
Required Education:
BS Chemical, Mechanical, or Bio-Medical Engineering; 0-2 years experience.
