Job Title: Engineering Project Team Leader
Duration: 12 months (strong possibility of extension)
Location: Mossville, IL 61552

Candidate Responsibilities
• This is a position for verification and validation of Telematics software for Client machine and engine applications.
• The candidate’s duties will include but are not limited to: developing test scripts; developing test procedures; updating test programs; testing Telematics software; troubleshooting software issues; and reporting test status.
• This position involves working closely with Telematics systems engineers, and Telematics software development team.

Typical Day
• The candidate’s duties will include but are not limited to: developing test scripts; developing test procedures; updating test programs; testing Telematics software; troubleshooting software issues; and reporting test status.
• This position involves working closely with Telematics systems engineers, and Telematics software development team. Candidate is eligible for 9/80 schedule

Job Requirements
 
 
Qualifications
• BSEE, BSCE, BSCS, or BSME or Two years of test experience using a wide variety of testing tools
• Two years of Python programming experience.
• Experience interfacing with various components including Ethernet, serial, and SSH terminal support when running tests.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including the use of MS Office when producing reports and creating new test plans.
• Motivated self-starter o Desired Qualifications
• Experience with CAN, J1939 and other data link protocols
• Experience using datalink analysis and testing tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe
• Embedded platform experience
• Development experience with Object Oriented C++ or external interface testing experience.
• Experience with Agile testing or development
• Experience with Linux OS shell scripts
• One year of development experience using C and/or C++ programming languages
• Experience with GIT or other similar source code repositories
• Experience with either the PyDev/Eclipse or PyCharm IDE

Soft Skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including the use of MS Office when producing reports and creating new test plans.
• Motivated self-starter
