Job Description
• Manage events from inception to completion through meetings, email, phone calls and other means with team members.
• Develop solutions as problems arise by changing priorities, rearranging schedules, developing alternatives, and/or adding additional resources.
• Ensure project stays on track. Ensure project stays on strategy.
• Assemble and present project rollup of status, issues, and recommended solutions.
• Provide regular client updates Defines needs for external services, researches available vendors and agencies, conducts agency presentations, and makes final recommendation. Manages agency or vendor.
• Develops and manages budgets. Tracks invoices to ensure budget accuracy and compliance with accounting guidelines
• Work closely with product marketing to understand their objectives and strategies at each show and how the events team can ensure that they are properly executed.
• Work with compliance, legal, brand and other internal entities to ensure all events are managed according to their guidelines
• Coordinate all shipments for events.
• Work with internal customs and import/export teams to ensure all proper shipping documentation is taken care of
• Negotiate and implement contracts with vendors and hotels Manage tradeshow and events warehouse and prepare products needed for each show when applicable
• Attend managed shows when applicable to ensure set up, tear down and show is executed accordingly
• Facilitates pre-show meetings and post-show reports Send detailed show briefs to internal team and stakeholders prior to event

Minimum Qualifications:
• Requires leadership skills Ability to work with minimal supervision. Have large-scale events coordination experience as well as tradeshow experience.
• Project coordination experience in a marketing/sales organization. Have excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Must be flexible and able to prioritize responsibilities.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles desired.
• Experience managing agencies or vendors.
• International experience preferred.
• Have excellent communication and creative problem solving skills. Must be a strategic thinker as well as strong executer of tactical plans.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Six or more years of marketing experience
• Strong strategic and planning skills
• Excellent written and verbal and strong presentation skills
• Strong project management skills
• Strong team player Able to handle multiple priorities
• Able to work independently Strong creative and analytic skills
• Strong attention to detail
• BA or BS in marketing or business International and Domestic travel required
