Job Description
Answers phone calls, takes messages and makes outbound calls to obtain information from various parties. Performs administrative duties including updating or drafting documents, emails, letters and forms. Basic PC skills with knowledge of Word/Excel, email and ability to learn bank systems quickly. Follows well defined procedures and practices. May require a high school diploma with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Accountable for managing and settling terminating trusts that require technical expertise and knowledge. Assigns tasks to the Trust Settlement Assistants, monitors progress and approves completed work. Will be responsible for coaching, developing, and mentoring assistants within Trust Settlement team. Builds and maintains relationships with external business partners (Attorneys, CPAs, and Fiduciary Accountants), and coordinates communication with internal support partners (Tax, Compliance, SAM, ART), to ensure accurate, timely and efficient administration, and to manage business risk. Participates in sales calls as needed, offering Trust Settlement expertise. Maintains high quality communications with beneficiaries, with focus on client satisfaction and asset retention. Acts as a technical resource to colleagues within and outside of Trust Settlement team. BS/BA preferred. Advanced degree or professional designation a plus. Non-licensed associate.
