Job Description
 
• Candidates must have knowledge in course design and development, utilizing Instructional Systems Designs or other training system methodology.
• They must be able to demonstrate knowledge of outcomes-based instruction, behavior modeling, experiential training design, storyboard development, course evaluation, and have experience in e-learning design and development.
• They must have experience working with computer support, video technology, distance learning, and other state of the art technologies used in training course and media design.
• Candidates must have a baccalaureate degree in instructional systems design or an equivalent degree field (where curricula included study in instructional systems design, learning theory, instructional methods, tests and measurement, cognitive or educational psychology and educational evaluation), from an accredited college or university and 3 years of experience in instructional systems design.
• This work entails reviewing and evaluating existing training material to identify and resolve deficiencies relative to meeting the objectives associated with training personnel to achieve the established standards for skills and abilities needed to be successful air traffic controllers.
• The ISDs work with subject matter experts to determine the appropriate sequence of training and skills development that would lead to successful certification as an air traffic controller.
