Job Description
This Professional Services position is responsible for providing hands on technical consultation, technical systems implementations and customer technical support. Serves as a subject matter expert and may work as an individual or as part of a team to implement solutions that solve customers’ business problems.

• Facilitating requirements discussions with Business Subject Matter Experts.
• Create and analyze requirements based on engaging with customers on their business problems and needs.
• Setup of customer environments (hosted or deployed) including but not limited to OS, networking and implementing customer specific solution packages.
• Clarifying a customer’s system specification, understanding their work practices and translating this into solution implementations.
• Packaging, configuration and documentation for deployment of software solutions.
• Troubleshooting complex problems and provides root cause analysis including technical interdependencies.
• Provides technical solutions to issues or problem statements, written or verbal, for identified issues at a cross-functional level
• Support for QA Engineers in pre-production and production environments.
• Prepare and deliver customer training.

• Building relationships within accounts and becoming the trusted advisor for key customer technical individuals.
• Working with the Professional Services and wider account teams to identify and develop Professional Services opportunities.
• Cross-training of other internal staff on Professional Services processes and procedures.
• Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement and Professional Services methodology.

Job Requirements
• Previous responsibilities of designing, installing and configuring of Big Data repositories (Cassandra)
• Previous responsibilities of troubleshooting and scalability tuning of Big Data repositories (Cassandra)
• Ability to be a resource and guide to less experienced staff or to those with other specialties
• Requires the ability to build complex solutions, work with customers on defining requirements, and be able to create or significantly contribute to requirements documents.
• Requires the ability to determine level of effort concerning work items and must be comfortable delivering to timelines using documented delivery processes.
• Strong understanding and hands on experience with networking and enterprise systems architecture is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and proven problem solving skills are required.
• Requires excellent verbal and professional presentation skills.
• Self-starter and proven ability to work effectively in virtual teams.
• Ability to interact with senior internal and external partners and with client groups in a team setting, taking ownership of their objectives to achieve business results.
