Job Description
 
Candidate will be responsible for testing lab and field system level functionality/protocol, performance and aid in debug/optimization with an emphasis on WLAN system and contribute to eventual commercialization & product launch.
Strong knowledge in wireless networks and 802.11 a/b/g and n access point (AP) configuration, setup and testing experience is required for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:
Prior experience in wireless device testing experience including field and lab/screen room testing
-3+ years of testing experience on WLAN/802.11 a/b/g/n/ac on smartphones and/or Access Points
-Experience with packet capture tools like Omnipeek, Wireshark and android log analysis (adb/kernel logs) with focus on WLAN debugging
-Expertise in test setups, device configurations for WLAN/WWAN desired.
The candidate will be involved in WLAN field and lab interop and performance test that include end to end protocol, functionality, performance and system optimization.

In this role, candidate will closely work with the system engineers, SW/HW engineers and other members of the system integration and testing group
Typical tasks comprise test case development, execution - under a diverse collection of operational scenarios, data analysis, results' interpretation and reporting, competitive analysis, issue debugging, enhancement and automation of test procedures as well as analysis tools - with an end goal of system level feature completeness, stability & optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years is preferred.
Experience using tools like QXDM, QPST desired.

Education:
Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering
