Job Description
 
• Provide systems administration, development and support to an optimal portfolio of state-of-the-art, high value, collaboration, communications, and content management solutions that result in improved effectiveness and efficiency of internal and external communications, and promotes innovation and productivity across the organization.
• Plans, conducts, and coordinates administration and analysis assignments on multiple systems on multiple platforms. Provides inputs to system development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules. Provides input to project proposals to management and user departments to include upgrading to newer versions of SharePoint. Reviews current status of system applications and prepares recommendations for systems improvements. Develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines. Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and criteria for obtaining results. Ensures task schedules, and performance requirements are met.
• The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and must be very proactive in analyzing and solving issues to include ability to be able to identify problem areas and provide resolution. This person will interact frequently with customers, peers and functional peer groups at various levels and must have strong business acumen. The candidate must be an articulate communicator with an ability to communicate technical information to the team.

Job Requirements
 
 
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as 8+ years of related experience. Experience may have been gained before, during or after degree. In addition to education requirements, a minimum of four (4) years recent SharePoint administration and/or development experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Administering and/or developing .NET based applications and solutions, with emphasis on SharePoint 2010/2013
• Administering and/or developing PHP based applications and solutions with emphasis on Drupal and Moodle
• Facilitate meetings to elicit and discuss requirements for the project. Additionally, document and publish meeting minutes, when required
• Understanding of/experience with content management systems & information architecture
• Experience with TFS or similar code/requirements management tool suite
• Experience working in an Agile environment specifically in Scrum and Kanban frameworks
• Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript design and development of websites
• Proficient in SDLC methodology and tools, and strong understanding of Project methodologies
• Must be an effective verbal and written communicator, able to work with both technical and business users and product owners
• Must have a commitment to delivering high-quality systems, software and data
• Must demonstrate a sense of urgency, and the ability to work independently and proactively in achieving team and individual objectives
• Must be comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Must have strong attention to detail and an inquisitive mindset

DESIRED SKILLS:
• Developing, Delivering, and Managing solutions based on Amazon Web Services
• Domain health science knowledge a plus
• Major Plus: SharePoint MCSE or MCSD certification
• Migration experience with SharePoint 2013 to 2016
• Drupal administration/experience
• Moodle administration/experience
