Travelling needed: 75%

Job Functions:
• Lead the technical analysis of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) related to fossil and renewable Power Generation Systems. For example ICS provided by Emerson, GE, Siemens, Vestas, etc.
• Lead inventory data collection activities, consolidate data collected during site walk-downs into working documents, and validate all onsite data capture activities are completed for all applicable Cyber Systems located at fossil and renewable Power Generation Systems.
• Development of high level network architecture/design for the Power Generation Systems
• Maintain knowledge of the cyber security capabilities of operating systems, networking devices, control systems, and vendor offerings.
• Maintain a working knowledge of applicable cyber and physical security standards involving electric power systems, including those relating to process networks.

Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required, in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field with appropriate experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related systems.
• Understanding of security principles and good knowledge of cyber security technologies
• General knowledge of control systems in use in the Electric Power sector, specifically those in Power Generation Systems.
• Ability to operate under pressure and under tight deadlines, to operate in on-site industrial (Electric Power) work, and occasional night and weekend work.
• Demonstrated capability to make sound decisions based on good security practices and principles.
• Demonstrated understanding of business principles and operational security practices specific to engineering and/or security consulting.
• Experience with corporate policies and procedures and/or technical writing skills.
• Experience with physical cabling for network communications and control system I/O.
• Travel for site work is estimated to average 75 - 100% yearly.
• Working knowledge of technology, vendors, products, development and support alternatives
• Demonstrated understanding of IT process and infrastructure/security related projects
• Strong effective written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Language Skills:
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common engineering and technical network diagrams and communication protocols.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SharePoint software; Excel Spreadsheet software; Visio software for network diagrams; Word/PowerPoint software; and working knowledge of power plant control systems, SCADA systems.
