Job Description
 
• Assessment and optimization of the server and network systems through monitoring, statistics, and health checks, and proactively identify and resolve issues before it gets escalated
• Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software related problems on servers
• Applying effective risk controls to identify potential threats and minimize or remove a business impact
• Proven analytical and rapid problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Be integral part of Major Incident Management group and drive consistent execution of operation processes and tasks
• Review root cause of escalations and work with appropriate resources to ensure continuous improvements of technology environment and products
• Playing a critical role in resolving major incidents pertaining to server and virtualization infrastructure within defined SLA and willing to work in 12-hour shift with 24/7 support on an even shift roaster

Job Requirements
 
 
SPANISH SPEAKING IS MUST
• Enterprise level experience with network technologies in large-scale, multi-data center, multi-platform, distributed computing environments
• 5+ years providing network engineering & operations support
• Expert knowledge of Cisco equipment and technologies, including Cisco Nexus to support Compute and Storage infrastructures
• Remote/hands-on data center experience to support production, dev/test, and mgt networks for client including configuration, documentation, and issue resolution for Juniper firewalls, Cisco routers, Cisco switches, F5 App Switches – Load Balancers, Netscreen monitors, and Riverbed WAN accelerators
• Solid TCP/IP networking foundation including routing, subnetting, VPN, packet filtering/firewalling, VLANs, packet capture/analysis, QOS, and NAT configuration
• Strong experience with configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
• Understanding of ancillary network services such as RADIUS, TACACS, NTP, LDAP and DNS
• Extensive experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cisco ASA firewalls in routed mode (failover configuration, complex NAT configuration, routing protocols, VLAN trunking, etc.)
• Extensive experience deploying and troubleshooting various VPN configurations including remote access SSL VPN (Cisco), Site to Site IPSEC tunnels w/ IKEv2, GRE/GRE +IPSEC, etc
• Extensive hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Solar Winds
• Good knowledge and understanding of network support and administration on the public cloud
Preferred qualification in addition to good educational background_1
• Advanced Network certification (CCNP) and/or leading industry certification from Checkpoint and Juniper
• Certification from Load Balancers i.e. F5/Palo Alto preferred
