Job Description
 
• The PMO Quality Analyst will help with several of the operational duties of the IT Project Management Office, but will mainly be responsible for ensuring that key projects are executing with the appropriate rigor and quality.
• PMO activities include reporting, performing Health Checks/Gate reviews, interfacing with multiple delivery portfolios and non-functional groups, and working with the rest of the PMO team to ensure all projects are on track and process is followed.
• The candidate will also use CE's PPM tools to review project work plans, issues, risks, and dependencies. The candidate will produce status reports, conduct status meetings, and facilitate issue resolution and risk management sessions. They will also develop presentations and identify process improvement opportunities.
• The ideal candidate will have specialized in project quality analyses and gating of projects from one phase to another.
• This position will report to the IT PMO and will not be managing projects.

Skills Required:
• Excellent planning skills using industry planning applications (i.e. Clarity/CA PPM, MS project)
• Attention to detail Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
• Ability to understand complex technical issues Ability to manage, coordinate, guide a project team of technical professionals
• Ability to work well with mid to senior management
• Five or more years of Information Technology experience
• Two or more years of experience determining project quality

Preferred
• 4-8 years managing projects of moderate size and complexity.
• 2-5 years working in a project management office (PMO)
