Job Description
 
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
• Excellent communications (written & oral), planning, interpersonal and time management skills.
• 3+ years of experience facilitating one or more AGILE teams
• 3+ years of experience with Ms Team Foundation Server (TFS) using Agile features
• 3+ years of experience in working with IT systems as a SCRUM Master (All Levels)
• Deep understanding of AGILE methodology - SCRUM, Kanban. Understanding of other processes and methodologies to be able to leverage various techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise
• Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices. Understanding of backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition
• Experience Coaching distributed IT teams located in multiple time-zones and in complex environments with onsite-offshore model.
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field

Agile Program Responsibilities:
• Coach and mentor new Scrum Masters throughout Investments IT and help ensure consistent processes are practices across teams
• Contribute to building organizational capability and expertise on Agile project management by sharing findings, best practices, and resources.
• Act as Scrum Master for one to two SCRUM teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards process improvement
• Set-up Scrum Master COE across Investments IT

Scrum Master Responsibilities:
• Work with the Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning, and to maintain backlog health in preparation for execution.
• Ensure team is delivering on the project vision and goals, guiding the team throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Facilitate effective and efficient Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint planning and sprint retrospectives.
• Monitor team velocity and sprint/release progress against the team's commitments and empower the team to self-organize to achieve their goals.
• Identify and remove impediments, control distractions as well as facilitate discussion and conflict resolution.
• Coach and enact continuous improvement within the team to increase the productivity of the team and quality of deliverables. Provide training to new team members as necessary.
• Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and lead by example to push towards goals.
• Help the teams converge on consistent capacity and performance metrics. Analyze and present the data in a fashion that helps all stakeholders achieve delivery and business goals.
• Facilitate technical coordination between scrum teams by participating in the “scrum of scrums” and proactively coordinating between inter-related delivery teams.
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
