Job Description
 
• Responsible for trouble resolution using Remedy Support Ticketing, operations and maintenance of systems, applications and equipment used in the provisioning and delivery of Interactive Services by providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for all video systems within the Client Video Systems.
• The video systems included in this team’s purview include Video Back-Office Systems, Conditional Access Systems (CAS = DAC / DNCS), Switched Digital Video Systems (SDV), Video on Demand Systems (VOD) and QAM services (GQAM, CASA, NSG).
• The Engineers are responsible for reliable, consistent operation of these systems to provide a quality entertainment and information experience for our customers.
• This position is part of a team providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for the resolution of outages and service impairments in a 24x7x365 operation for the assigned shift.

Job Requirements
 
 
• Experience working within Linux/Unix systems environment.
• Experience providing systems and applications support for complex, high-reliability systems and architectures supporting video services or back-offices.
• Knowledge management of video systems and applications including VOD, SDV, Conditional Access, Edge QAMs and Back-Office systems.
• Experience working with Conditional Access controllers such as DNCSs and DACs.
