Position Details:
Job Title: Contract Analyst
Location: Santa Ana, CA - 92705
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Primary Job Function:
Reviews signed contracts and documentation, and update CAPS (Contracts and Proposal System) with appropriate data, and completes and sends price load requests to Customer Service in accordance with OEC and corporate policies.
Reviews GPO contract submissions, updates the LOP database with appropriate data, and completes and sends price load requests to Customer Service in accordance with OEC and corporate policies.
Conducts contract compliance reviews and contract expiration process in a timely and accurate manner.
This includes database maintenance, process refinement, MS Excel log updates, and close interaction with field sales & customers.
Ability to work in team-oriented environment and working with cross-functional teams Timely submission of CAPS monthly reporting metrics.
Prepare scanned contracts, price letters, and bulk letters for filing including copying and sorting by account number
Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet stringent deadlines is essential as well as attention to detail.
MS Excel expertise is required.
MS Access expertise is preferred, but not required

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
6+ years of related work experience with a strong understanding of Contracting and Pricing, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Additional Notes from Manager
The manager is looking for candidates with “contract and/or contract compliance processing” experience which includes reconciling contracts, processing rebates, reconciliation billings, and GPO matching/processing.
The candidate will be handling all that is involved in contract compliance processing which can include reviewing and requesting product price changes to a contract so experience with pricing contracts is a plus.
Check to ensure the requirements are met and notify Field Sales when the contract is out of compliance.
Facilitate administration of each contract reconciliation between field and in-house team.
Other duties may include filing, scanning, doing the research for the contract and entering the data into the SAP system so SAP experience is required.
Candidate will need to be an Intermediate level of Excel user.
The manager would prefer candidates who have experience in medical or a regulated environment.
The manage is looking for candidates who are “doers”.
Detailed oriented & ability to work under tight time frames on multiple tasks.
The candidates will need to be able to handle high stress / high volume so please alert them of this.
Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze & solve problems.
Good analysis & interpretation in decision making.
Financial understanding of contracts to judge & make recommendations on one off situations or raise to manager.
Mathematical skills to quickly identify discrepancies in information that needs to be challenged.
