Responsible for developing comprehensive business and systems requirements documentation for existing and new applications supporting various HR operational functions. Understands how organizations accomplish their purpose, and defines the capabilities required to provide a service or meet goals. Facilitates communication between organizational units to align business needs and create requirement work products for solution providers.

• Identifies stakeholders and facilitates working sessions to develop comprehensive work products documenting requirements, validation and traceability.
• Plans, directs and completes analysis of business problems to be solved or products/services to be developed, to include compilation and evaluation of information elicited from multiple, cross-functional sources; reconciliation of conflicts; decomposition of high-level capabilities into detailed requirements; abstraction from low-level information to more general understanding; differentiation of user requests and solution ideas from underlying true requirements; and modeling of requirements in graphical forms to augment textual representations.
• Assesses system impacts and provides gap, process and cost/benefit analysis for system or product/service related initiatives.
• Understands how policies and processes impact requests/projects. Shares business knowledge and understanding among project team members and brokers consensus among stakeholders with conflicting needs.
• Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and processes that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
• Provides SME leadership and consulting support on complex tasks.
• Reviews deliverables and provides constructive input to other analysts.
• Acts as liaison between the user community and internal IT resources.
• Plans and facilitates user acceptance testing, post-deployment business validation and warranty period issue tracking activities.
• Partners closely with Project Management, providing information and regular status on all business systems analysis activities.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience performing business systems analysis with demonstrated understanding of strategic business information systems, to include at least 2 years with HR systems, specifically.
• Working understanding of best practices and principles of business systems analysis, with demonstrated ability to apply principles.
• Experience with multiple system development lifecycle methods.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, unambiguous deliverables and to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Experience identifying and resolving requirement impacting issues, working closely with Project Management and business SME’s/executives to develop and implement viable solutions.
• Demonstrated consulting skills and experience bridging between technology and business operations to enable organizations to make effective decisions.
• Certificate in Business Systems Analysis (preferably in a quantitative discipline) or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills:-
• Experience with WorkDay, or Kronos
• Experience using Agile Development methods
• Proficiency in SharePoint and/or MS Project
