Job Description
 
• Maintain documentation for all Maintenance activities.
• Resource for others on Work Order documentation/completion.
• Perform emergency and corrective repairs.
• Preventive maintenance to keep the equipment in good working condition.
• Installation or system modification for any Manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Performs process or equipment enhancements.
• Train new technicians and mechanics.
• Key contact for vendor on new equipment/processes.
• Support other technicians and mechanics in duties/assignments.
• Stock room activity - from ordering to location assignment.
• Develop new equipment PM’s, procedures, and assist with any SOP generation.
• Revise current equipment PM’s for needed changes.
• Complete or assist with projects from meeting attendance, Factory Acceptance Testing to installation, startup and training.
• Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to provide timely feedback to Management and customers regarding work, procedures, schedules, etc.
• Must fully understand and apply all concepts, methods, and procedures applicable to the job.
• Capable of working on all of the equipment throughout the Manufacturing areas with a high degree of knowledge/expertise.
• Ability to read, comprehend and apply written and verbal instruction accurately.
• Work cooperatively with other team members, co-workers toward departmental goals.
• High attention to detail.
• Follow job procedures and maintain work area in a safe and organized manner.
• Follows applicable safety rules and is alert with regard to safety of others.
• Completes work in an appropriate time frame and works efficiently.
• Uses downtime constructively.
• Consistently works within company expectations with regard to attendance and punctuality.
• Work is done with a quality-minded approach.
• Skills, outputs and service are at a high level where improvements would be minimal.

Job Requirements
 
 
• A minimum four years of experience in a maintenance capacity as either a mechanic or technician, preferably within a pharmaceutical or other regulated industry or company
• Machinist skills preferred
• Multi-craft preferred
