Job Description
Compensation Analyst Duties and Responsibilities • Researching, gathering, and analyzing data to determine appropriate salary level and job title for new positions • Evaluating proposed and existing jobs and classifying them in accordance with existing job family structure, determining appropriate alignment with survey data • Re-evaluating current job positions, promotions, and compensation proposals for prospective employees, etc. • Assisting in the administration of a variety of compensation policies and programs, supporting decisions with reporting and analysis • Consulting with Human Resource Business Partners in the development of job descriptions • Participating in salary surveys, interpreting salary data, performing analysis. • Preparing statistical analysis, data modeling, incentive pay programs, and costing of base salaries. • Providing support to HRBPs concerning interpretation of compensation practices and guidelines. Skills and Specifications • Knowledge of HR principles and practices. • Able to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning employee information. • Ability to use software and hardware effectively, particularly SAP and Access. • High-level proficiency in Excel. • Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, decision-making, and planning skills. Education and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, finance, accounting. • 3 – 5 years of experience in compensation administration.
