Job Description
 
Read schematics, assemble Electronic Circuit Board Assemblies (ECBA) using both hand soldering for thru-hole and reflow process for surface mount components
· Build power and control cable assemblies to spec
· Perform basic troubleshooting of PCBAs and cable assemblies using a Digital Multimeter
· Assemble electro-mechanical subsystems and fixtures from drawings and schematics
· Demonstrate knowledge of safety and work protocols and application from job related training and can train other technicians
· Documents defects, troubleshoots and performs intermediate software setup and/or repairs to tools, fixtures and equipment used in work assignments.
· Perform intermediate level printhead Failure Analysis and repairs / recovers printheads as needed
· Create and maintain Printhead Mfg process documents
· Practices continuous improvement of skills
· Coach and mentor less experienced technicians
· Leads and completes projects within scope of skills and responsibilities
· Setup and operation of printhead Mfg fixtures, process equipment and measurement systems

Job Requirements
 
 
Skills:
· Good PC skills, able to use MS Excel, knowledge of network operating environments and protocols
· Ability to correctly setup and operate printhead Mfg fixtures, process equipment and measurement systems
· Knowledge of jetstack or Printhead Mfg processes and procedures used and can train other technicians
· Knowledge of machine shop and part fabrication processes
· Intermediate level troubleshooting of printhead Mfg processes
· Skilled in setup and operation of printhead Mfg fixtures, process equipment and measurement systems, able to train others.
· One of the three additional knowledge area listed below:
· Intermediate level knowledge of machine shop and part fabrication processes
· Intermediate level troubleshooting and repair of electronics and printheads, fixtures and equipment used in jetstack or printhead Mfg
· Intermediate level knowledge in use of computer programs or software tools applicable to assigned work responsibilities
Education:
· Minimum AA/AS degree with advanced electronic theory and principals
· 5+ years experience building, repairing, testing or operating electro-mechanical equipment.
· 5+ years of experience working with Jetstack or Printhead Mfg processes
