Job Description
• The Associate Document Advisor is the face of Clients in the delivery of our Centralized Print Services at the client site.
• This position will act as the primary contact for the client on all matters associated with the delivery and performance connected to our on-site Print Production Center, Document Advisor Services, and External Vended Print Services.
• The Associate Document Advisor is responsible and accountable for managing “day of” operations and driving successful results through outstanding leadership, proactive process enhancements, problem resolution, and providing direction to a staff of 5-10 employees in a large Print Production environment.
• Critical focus on inspecting and managing personnel compliance with process, procedure, and policy to deliver contracted Service Level Agreement targets. Ongoing analysis and continuous process improvement to enhance staff efficiency and effectiveness to deliver the highest levels of Quality Assurance and Client Satisfaction.

• Primary resource for advice for all document production needs of the Client for digital print solutions.

Production Print Advice and Services Promotion:
• Manage Business Unit relationships, working with and advising Business Unit document owners to meet document production needs in a cost effective manner
• If applicable, become active member of the Clients Form or Print Committee
• Promote the print services of the client production print center
• Convert appropriate applications to digital platforms - identify and develop digital document opportunities
• Ensure that savings targets are met and recorded for various deliverables, where applicable

Print Job Management:
• Price, co-ordinate and manage print projects for the Business Units as required
• Interface with preferred suppliers, internal / external as required

Manage the various process requirements such as:
• Attend forms/print committee meetings
• Document production quote process
• Proof exchange
• Delivery date follow up
• Ensure appropriate documentation is available for audit purposes

System Administration:
• Provide system administration for the forms management solution implemented for the client

Forms/Document Design:
• Provide document creation & revision service expertise for all documents produced via print-on-demand (POD)
• Provide training to client end users on applicable Web-to-Print technology tools and processes

• Coordinates administrative tasks performed by Client Associates
• Attend operations staff and/or/client meetings and act as an operations focal point for the account
• Works closely with immediate manager sharing information and following-up with account activity
• Coordinates and leads internal and external site team meetings
• Participates in internal and external account reviews
• Establish effective monthly reports to track and trend key business and performance drivers
• Use of Computer: Email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Provide general guidance and daily activity direction to approximately 5-10 Client Associates

• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of PC's and recent releases of MS Office (Proficient with Excel) Knowledge and experience of graphic design software, especially In Design & Adobe Illustrator is preferred but not required.

• Experience with print shop management and/or job scheduling.
• Minimum of five (5) years of print industry experience in a “production” and/or project management environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years in a customer relationship role.
• Experience in print sales or price estimation. Familiar with document “production” techniques.
• Experience with commercial / transaction print / digital print.
• Experience in working autonomously.
• Graphic and document design experience.
• Account management experience.
• Print procurement experience with commercial vendors.
• Print inventory management and tracking experience.
• Team supervision experience

• Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Preferred: Associates Degree
